    I purchased a Nikon Coolpix S710 for my son on 11/12/08, which is the first Nikon purchase I ever made and will never buy another Nikon camera. I purchased the camera from a Navy Exchange for $349.99 and their return policy is 14 days for cameras. About a month after purchase my son started getting periodic lens errors that became more frequent and so frustrating that he seldom used the camera. Now, 3-months after purchase, everytime he turns on the camera it flashes "Lens Error" and is useless. I have found other complaints about this camera and other Nikon digital cameras having Lens errors, with little to no help from Nikon. What will Nikon do for me to resolve this problem? I bought the camera in good faith and thought I was buying a quality product.
