As expected if you’ve been following the rumours over the past couple of weeks, Nikon have announced their latest DSLR, the D300s.

An update for the D300, the main differences from the D300 are the addition of a 720p movie mode, increased shooting speed to 7fps, a new “Quiet” shooting mode, and dual card slots (CF and SD).

Externally, the D300s gets two new dedicated buttons for Live View and Info, along with a D700-style card slot door.

The price? $1,799.95.
