It looks like Nikon's latest DSLR, the D3100 (replacing the D3000), has been leaked a little early by German magazine "Foto Digital". Nikon Rumors got notification from readers who received their subscription copies of the mag today, in which the following details were to be found:
- 14 MP CMOS Sensor
- Live View
- 3 inch Display
- 100 – 12800 ISO
- 11-Point AF
- Full HD Video (1920 x 1080)
- price 650 €
It's unclear as to whether this price includes the kit lens - we expect it does, as the D3000 suggested retail price with lens was around €600. What is interesting is the new high ISO limit of 12,800 - a first for a Nikon camera in this price range.
Also leaked were the following lenses:
- AF-S DX 55-300/4,5-5,6 G ED VR (ca. 420 €)
- AF-S 85/1,4 G with Nano (ca. 1650 €)
- AF-S 24-120/4 G ED VR (ca. 1220 €)
- AF-S 28-300/3,5-5,6 G ED VR (ca. 1000 €)
Look for a full review here on NikonHQ when the camera becomes available.

I am sure that you realise that most people require a full frame DSLR,but Nikon continue to produoe the smaller frame camera.
Surely by now they can massproduce large sensor cameras at an affordable price by now,
