I HAVE HAD MY D300s FOR 9 MONTHS NOW HAVE USED IT IN ALL TYPES OF SHOOTING SITUATIONS & IT HAS PERFORMED BEYOND MY BELIEF, ITS EASY TO VIEW LCD MONITOR, VIEW FINDER & QUICK RESPONSE TO ANY SUDDEN CHANGE DURING SHOOTING.THIS CAMERA SEEMS TO DO IT ALL AS WELL AS THE FX CAMERAS EXCEPT MAYBE FOR THE EXTREME LOW LIGHT SHOOTING & SUPER HIGH SPEED SHOOTING OVER 3200 ISO WHERE IT SEEMS TO SHOW SOME NOISE & OR NOT ENOUGH LIGHT.IT EVEN HAS HD VIDEO THAT WHEN I USED IT WORKED WELL KEEPING IN MIND ITS NOT A VIDEO CAMERA.
I WAITED FOR 31 YEARS TO UPGRADE FROM FILM TO DIGITAL WITH NO REGRETS SAVE MY FE IS NOW RETIRED.
I CAN SAY IT TRUELY IS A GREAT CAMERA, PROBABLY THE LAST I'LL EVER NEED.!!!!!
